Obituary of John Moses John Moses of Woodridge, NY passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Mike Klussman, at age 93. He is survived by his five children, Stephen, Suzanne, Judy, John Jr.,  and Peter. Also surviving are his twelve grandchildren and twenty three great-grandchildren. Predeceased are his wife Helen and one grandson.John was born on January 15, 1930 in Olyphant, PA, moved to Orange County, NY in 1964 and then to Sullivan County, NY in 1976.  He was a carpenter by trade, mostly self-employed.  In retirement he continued woodworking, cut and sold firewood for six years, and enjoyed hunting and trap shooting.  He made many friends over the years and enjoyed socializing.A celebration of John’s life will be held on November 18th 12 noon at the White Lake Reformed Presbyterian Church on Route 17B and Mattison road in Bethel, NY.A Memorial Mass will also be held for John at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Woodbourne, NY, and he will be buried alongside his wife at the Holy Ghost Cemetery in Blakely, PA.  Information about the Memorial Mass and interment will follow at a later time. Arrangements are under the care of Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne.  For additional information, please contact the funeral home at 845-434-7363 or visit the website at www.colonialfamilyfuneralhomes.com .
