John Ort, a longtime resident of Bethel, NY, passed away suddenly on Tuesday May 19, 2015 at his residence in Bethel, NY. John was the son of John and Ella Hulse Ort and was born on November 10, 1961. John was a carpenter by trade.
Survivors include his ex-wife, Gale Osterhoudt; daughter, Brittany Ort; granddaughter, Briale Smith; grandson, Tyohn Smith; sisters-in-law, Judith Ort and Susan Ort; cousins, Earl and Sharon Lilly; nieces, Chrisitna Powers, Kimberly Ort, Lindsey Ort; nephews, Darrin Ort and Brian Ort and his MANY, MANY friends from Hector's Inn.
A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Noon at Hector's Inn, 8 Dr. Duggan Rd., Bethel, NY.
