Joseph S. Greco, of Monticello, died on Jan. 7, 2017 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY at the age of 70. He was the son of the late Joseph R. and Gilda DiGiulio and was born on April 27, 1946 in the Bronx. His wife, JoAnne T. Grco, passed away on October 7, 2016.
Joseph was a retired Corrections Officer for the NYS Department of Corrections in Woodbourne, NY. He also served in the US ARMY from 1966 to 1968.Interested in music, he appeared regularly on the "Bob Shop" radio program.
He is survived by his son, Michael Anthony Greco and his wife, Adrianna, of Monticello, NY; a brother, Robert Greco and his wife Lynn of New York, NY and four grandchildren, Eric Shambley of North Carolina, Kayla Greco, of Buffalo, NY, Joseph Greco of Monticello and Joanna Greco of Monticello, NY.
Graveside Military services will be on Thursday Jan. 12, 2017 at 11 AM at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery, Liberty, NY.
