Joseph began his remarkable journey when he married his sweetheart Doris, on January 24, 1959. Joseph and his loving wife built a wonderful life together filled with love, laughter, music and children.
Papa Joe loved to cook. He rarely ate with his family as his joy came from watching his family gather to enjoy his culinary creations.
Joseph had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to laugh. His family was always on the receiving end of his mischievous pranks which created memories that his family still cherish to this day.
Joseph loved his salsa music and loved to dance. He wowed the crowd with his fancy footwork.
Remembered with fondness will also be his unique way of gathering his children from far and wide. Joe had distinguishing whistle that signaled the "troops" to come home.
Joseph was a loving human being who as devoted to his family. He left behind a legacy of love, strength, laughter and lifelong memories. Everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him will look back with fond memories and can't help but smile when thinking of his practical jokes. Many hearts are left broken at his loss.
Joe is survived by his siblings: Nelson, Mirriam, Edmundo, Milagros, Gloria, Elsie and Victor. He is also survived by his wife Doris, Sons; Joseph Jr, Bobby, Dennis, Anthony and Albert. And his Daughters; Felicia, Michelle and Victoria. He also is survived by his grandchildren; Robbie, Krystal, Jessica, Dennis Jr, TJ, Frankie, Maya, Lily, Brandon, Marcos, Alexa, Ariana, Stephanie, Kenny and Melanie. His Great Grandchildren; Nicky, Adriane, Cayden, Cassandra, Joyloni and Grace.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 2 pm – 5 pm at Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home 275 South Main St. Liberty, NY.
