View Tribute Book My beloved son, Joseph Michael Mikalonis “Shibby”, passed away on May 12, 2024. He was 36.He was born on June 25, 1987 in Kingston, NY, to Jeffrey W. Mikalonis, Sr. and Margaret R. Sanford.Joseph “Shibby” enjoyed skateboarding, watching anime, being outside especially hunting and fishing, and spending time with family. He loved the beach and loved taking walks along the ocean with family. No matter what the situation was he was the jokester of the moment or day. He enjoyed his Sunday cartoon days and loved his music.He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his mom, Margaret Sanford and her significant other Jerry Lopez; father Jeffrey Mikalonis, Sr and his wife Jennifer Mikalonis; daughter Leilani Mikalonis; siblings Jeffrey Mikalonis (Susan), Rosemarie Fisher (Jonathan), Daniel Mikalonis Sr, Joanida Mikalonis (Julian Martinez); step siblings; Michael, Holly, Timothy Mikalonis; as well as several nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles; and his girlfriend Victoria Augello.A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 6pm on Monday, May 20, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY12788.
