It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of the passing of Joey. Our beloved Joey Dan tragically left us on Monday, October 21, 2024.
He was the son of Joseph Wallace and Denise Montforte Corbett, born on April 10, 1995, in Harris, NY.
Joey was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. He brought joy and light to everyone who knew him. His sudden departure has left a void that can never be filled. Joey was a vibrant young soul who touched the lives of everyone he met with his kindness, laughter and love. His smile was infectious; you could feel the warmth in his hugs. He was a proud graduate of Tri-Valley Central School, class of 2013. He was an avid gamer, and he also had a passion for sports. He loved the NY Yankees, the Los Angeles Laker’s and the NY Jets. But most of all, he loved his family wholeheartedly. He was the most loving and caring gentle giant. He touched everyone that knew him.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Denise Corbett (Donnie), and Joe Wallace (Tina), his brothers, Matthew and Jesse, his stepsisters Christina, Alyssa, Heather and Taylor. His grandparents, Thomas Monforte, Debbie Defrietas, Evelyn Pustulnik and Betty Beach Connell. His Aunt Jessica Reeves and his Uncle Tommy Monforte, who were more like siblings. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his lifelong friends.
He was predeceased by his grandmothers Mary Monforte and Laura Wallace, his grandfathers, Eugene, John and Lee.
