Judy A. Mohr, 81, passed away from natural causes on September 7, 2026.

Born on December 20, 1944, in Yonkers, New York, Judy spent most of her life in Greenfield Park, New York, where she raised her children and built a life deeply rooted in family and the outdoors.

Judy was predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Harold Brewster, and her sisters, Diana Brewster and Mildred "Snookie" Brewster. She is survived by her sons, Charles Mohr and Christopher Mohr, and her granddaughters, Heather Mohr and Savanna Davide-France.

Judy retired from Frontier Insurance after many years of dedicated service.

An avid outdoorswoman and a true jack of all trades, Judy was independent, hardworking, and never afraid to take on a challenge. She maintained a large garden, chopped her own firewood, and spent countless hours enjoying the natural beauty of the Catskills. She completed all 35 of the Catskill Mountain peaks and proudly became Member #1484 of the Catskill 3500 Club.

Judy found great joy in being outside. She loved hiking, running, walking, camping, and simply spending time surrounded by nature. One of her favorite places to camp was Hammonasset State Park, where she enjoyed many memorable trips over the years.

Her strength, determination, self-reliance, and love of the outdoors were defining parts of who she was. She will be remembered by those who knew her for the family she raised and the adventurous spirit she carried throughout her years.

Judy's memory will live on in her family and within the Catskill mountains that brought her so much happiness.
