Julia Nahay, a homemaker, of Monticello, NY passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Achieve Rehab & Nursing Center in Liberty, NY. She was 81. The daughter of the late Nicholas and Bertha Viola Palmettio, she was born on December 2, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Sellers of Monticello, Robert Sellers and his wife Penny of Indianapolis, IN, Nicholas Huffman of Kauneonga Lake, NY, Harry Huffman and his wife Jennie of Indianapolis, IN and Marie Sellers of Narrowsburg, NY; 23 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Edward Huffman.
Cremation was private and took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
