Julia "Lula" Soto, 75, a homemaker and 45 year resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.

The daughter of the late Andres Soto Cubero and Maria Velasquez, she was born on December 20, 1937 in Moca, Puerto Rico.

Survivors include her husband, Leon Felipe Soto (owner of Felipe's Restaurant) at home; daughters. Alicia Soto of Liberty and Migdalia Vargas Soto and her husband Anibal Vargas of Brooklyn; grandchildren, Alondra and Isabel Vargas ; sister, Magdalena Rios and her husband Ramon of Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, William Soto.

Visiting hours will be on Saturday November 16, 2013 from 5 - 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Burial will take place at Los Jardines Memorial Park in Isabela, Puerto Rico.
