June A. Rhyne, a lifelong Kauneonga Lake, NY resident, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty, NY. She was 87. June was the daughter of the late Fred and Helen Williams Lilley and was born on October 2, 1926 in Kauneonga Lake, NY. She was a member of the Kauneonga Lake Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Rhyne of Liberty, NY; children, Karan Galloway and her husband, Patrick, of Liberty, NY; Kevin Rhyne of Bethel, NY and Jed Rhyne and his wife Sherri of Mongaup Valley, NY; 4 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Lloyd Rhyne; a grandson, Christopher Galloway and a brother, Alvin Lilley.
Friends may call on Monday April 21, 2014 from 4 - 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22 at 11 AM with Rev. Kenneth Rodgers officiating. Burial will follow the services at Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY.
