View Tribute Book Karl Eric Kaufmann, passed away on the morning of October 14, 2023 with his son, Henry, and loving partner, Tracy Brogdon, by his side.Karl was born on February 17, 1952, in Staten Island, NY to James and Charlotte (VanValen) Kaufmann.Karl was raised to be a good father, and he did just that, while also being an example of what working hard at something should be, he had over 30 years of sobriety, he was regularly confided in by others like him at Day-Top Rehabilitation Center in Parksville, NY. He had a passion for sports, in particular, baseball, which got him involved with the Tri-Valley Little League.  Karl remained selfless and recognized that love is the only thing that never changes. He was a loving and devoted father, companion and friend to all who knew him.
