View Tribute Book Kathryn "Kat" Jones, of Woodbourne, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY after her courageous battle with cancer. She was 21. She was the daughter of Mary Magnetico, born on March 1, 2001 in Plainview, NY. Kathryn was a proud graduate of Tri-Valley Schools and SUNY Sullivan, where she earned her Associate's degree. During her school years, she enjoyed playing sports. In her free time she enjoyed being outdoors, hiking and swimming, playing video games and attending concerts with friends. She attended Frost Valley and then moved into a junior counselor position. Kathryn was also seen volunteering with her mom's business, Chestnut Creek Baked Goods, at the local farmers markets. She was known for her quick-wit, sass, candor and was protective of her family and close friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, fiancé and friend.
