Lauren M. Kaplan passed away on Monday, June 8, 2026, at home. She was 69 years old.

She was born on January 19, 1957, in the Bronx, New York, to the late Edward Wartenberg and Edith Wilf. For many years, Lauren worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses, where her reliability and attention to detail were greatly valued. She was a past member of the Woodridge Ambulance Corp. She enjoyed stockcar racing.

She is survived by her children Randi and Edward, his wife Eryn and their children Hunter and Sara along with her brothers Mark and Gary and their children, many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Evelyn and Carol.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at Glen Wild Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild, New York, at 11:00am.

Shiva will follow at the Kaplan residence on Friday at 32 Old Glen Wild Road, Woodridge NY until 3pm.
