Leif Magnus Olsen, of Loch Sheldrake, NY, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 77.
He was the son of the late Magnus and Norma (Sorensen) Olsen, born on February 14, 2023 in New Rochelle, NY.
Leif enjoyed the simple classic things in life, a good salami sandwich and a cup of coffee or a bowl of ice cream. He loved watching old western movies, his favorite being "Have Gun, Will Travel", and educated all the staff and anyone who would lend an ear about the classic western actors. He was a charming individual who had a way with the ladies.
He is survived by his friends and extended family at New Hope Community.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11am on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at Woodbourne Cemetery, Parsonage Rd, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
