Lily Ann Caufield, a resident of Sullivan County for 40 years, died on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 91.
Lily was born on February 3, 1922 on Long Island to the late Thomas and Augusta Mayers. She was a retired Teacher's Aide at the Dr. Duggan Elementary School in White Lake, NY and was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Mongaup Valley, NY.
She is survived by her daughter, Debra Norris and her husband Walter of Ferndale, NY; her brother, Robert Mayers and his wife Mary of New Jersey; her sisters, Beatrice DeNaro, Caroline Pecchio and Audrey Martone, all of New Jersey and Lenolyn Mami of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank, in 1996 and by two brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call today, Thursday October 3 from 6- 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 RT 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. A Celebration of Lily's life will be held at Ramsay's Funeral Home on Friday, October 4 at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Route 17B, Bethel, NY.
