Linda Lee Burger, 58, of South Fallsburg, died on July 4, 2017 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was the daughter of the late, Ralph A. Burger and Steffie Mierzwinski Burger and was born on September 2, 1958 in Trenton, NY. Linda was a longtime Sullivan County resident and had worked as a bus aide for Rolling V Bus Company in South Fallsburg and she was an avid bingo player.
She is survived by her large family; sons, Matthew Rodriguez and wife Sherie of Connecticut, Elijah Fitts and Lamar Fitts, both of South Fallsburg; daughters, Mary Ann Berg and husband David of Havelock, NC, June Jackson and her companion Rashawn Sellers of Woodridge, NY and Dominique Rodriguez of Monticello, NY; a brother, Ralph Burger and wife Debbie of Hurleyville, NY; sisters, Lillian Vandermark of Roscoe, NY, Joyce Rhodes of Hamilton, NY, Virginia Payne of South Fallsburg, Rosemary Froelich and husband Fred of Summitville, NY and Cindy Burger of South Fallsburg; three granddaughters, Chloe, Amiyah and Gisele; one grandson on the way and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was predeceased by a son, Tyrone Jackson and brothers, Roy Burger and Michael Burger.
Visiting hours will be on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 55 St. John St. Monticello. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 8 PM. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
