Linda Sue Guara, a homemaker and resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on January 11, 2017 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY. The daughter of the late Ralph and Muriel Keller Hakans, she was born on December 22, 1958 in Bronx, NY.

Linda is survived by three sons, Robert Guara of Aurora, Colorado, Michael Guara of Cheyenne, Wyoming and James Guara of Liberty, NY; a brother, Michael Hakan (Leslie) of Pine Bush, NY; sisters, Louise Rhoades of Ft. Myers, NY, Patricia Chivoetta (Al) of Spring Valley, NY, Marlene Krause (John) of the Bronx, Barbara Anthony of Liberty, NY and April Fields of Liberty, NY and seven grandchildren, Robert Guara, Michael Guara, Jessie Guara, Dominic Guara, Kaylan Lea Guara, Paige Russell and Londyn Guara. Her husband Robert Guara, predeceased her.

Graveside services will be on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Noon at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery where Linda's cremains will be laid to rest with her husband Robert.
