Obituary

Lisa Ann Paradiso passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, May 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was 64 years old.

Born on January 18, 1962, in Bronxville, New York, Lisa was the cherished daughter of the late Angelo and Elfriede Paradiso.

Lisa loved many things in life, but nothing brought her greater joy than her beloved son, John. She was a woman with a loving heart, a warm smile, and a kind spirit who made everyone feel welcome. Easy to talk to and always willing to lend an ear, Lisa touched the lives of many with her compassion and generosity.

She enjoyed traveling, especially her trips to Antigua and Disneyland, California, and loved relaxing while watching television, with The Real Housewives being one of her favorite shows. Her favorite color was black, and her vibrant personality could brighten any room. To the neighborhood children, Lisa was affectionately known as the "snack lady," always ready with a treat and a smile. Throughout her working years, she became known for sharing cups of coffee and friendly conversations with everyone she met.

Lisa leaves behind her devoted husband of 21 years, Norman Prentice; her beloved son, John Lerario (Katie Cruz); her dear sister, Angela Luizzi; and her dear nieces and nephews, Jamie, Nicky, Angela, and Gina, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her greatly.

In addition to her parents, Lisa was predeceased by her sister, Helene Fontana.

Lisa's kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be remembered always. She was truly a ray of sunshine whose presence made the world a brighter place.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Mountaindale Fire House, 132 Main Street, Mountaindale, NY from 1:30-2:30, followed by a funeral service starting at 2:30pm.
