Lois Sarvis

Lois Jean Sarvis, 67, of Mountaindale, New York, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her deeply. Born on June 4, 1958, daughter of Rose Hoyle. Affectionately known as Lori, she was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, and friend whose kindness touched everyone she met.

Lori married George Sarvis Jr. who she referred to as her best friend and soul mate. They had known each other since their teenage years in school and as neighbors. Together they shared more than 40+ beautiful years. Side by side, they built both a life and a business-G&L Drywall-working in construction together with pride and dedication. Many in the community also remember Lori from Stewart's, where she greeted every customer with her warm smile and friendly spirit in the early hours of each morning.

A true animal lover, especially of her beloved pit bulls, Lori's home and heart were always open. She enjoyed traveling, with Florida being a frequent favorite, though Jamaica held a special place in her heart. Sweet, sensitive, and endlessly caring, Lori possessed a heart of gold. She was always in motion, always helping, and always putting others before herself. Above all else, her greatest joy came from her grandchildren, who were the absolute light of her life.

Lori is survived by her devoted husband, George Sarvis; and their children Desiree Sarvis, George Sarvis III, Jennifer Sarvis and her companion Ralph Payne and youngest child Kayla Sarvis; as well as her deeply loved and adored grandchildren Jason, Michael (Mikey), Kiya, Faith, and Angel. She is also survived by her mother Rose and her siblings Albert, Joey, Newton, and Johann; her canine companions Herbie and Libby; and Jason Davis, whom she respected deeply for being a great father to her eldest grandson Jason Jr. (Jay Jay)

She was predeceased by her son-in-law Howard Michael Kehlenbeck Jr. (Mike) and her beloved dogs Eddie and Tank.
