Lorraine Decker of Hurleyville, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the age of 72.

She was born on July 13, 1953, in Jersey City, New Jersey, to the late Charles Lapp Sr., and Dorothy M. Poole.

Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She will be remembered for her love, strength, and the many memories she created with those closest to her.

She is survived by her loving husband, John R. Decker; her daughters, Linda Kleingardner and her husband Lewis, and Danielle Decker and her partner Mike, Thomas MacPherson and his partner Kerri, her cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Amber, Michelle, Michael, Jaimie, Casie, Courtney, Thomas, Brittiany, Brianne, and Shane; along with 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepson, John M. Decker, and her great-granddaughter, Ebony, her siblings Charles W. Lapp Jr., and Patricia Brieta.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
