Lorraine Rakin

Lorraine "Rainee" Rakin, of Livingston Manor, passed away on December 20, 2021. She was 63.
She was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mary Canda, born on December 17, 1958 in Queens, NY.
Rainee was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, nanny, and friend. A beautiful soul who loved and accepted so many for who they are. Among those she left behind are her husband Richard, her children Rebecca, Jeremy, and her grandchildren Maria and Samuel, among countless others who came to love her as a mother figure. She will be missed and forever loved. Her love will always shine upon those whose lives she has touched.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, December 27, 2021 at St. Peter's Church, Liberty, NY at 10am.
