Louise M Henderson

Louise M. Henderson, age 75, passed away surrounded by her loved ones at home in Grahamsville, NY on Saturday, August 27, 2022.
She was born September 17, 1946 in Mountaindale, NY to Adee and Marjorie Budd.
While attending Fallsburg High School, she met her husband, Thomas C. Henderson when he was visiting Louise's brothers at their farmhouse while they were members of FFA (Future Farmers of America). Their love blossomed leading to wedlock of 57 years. They married in 1965 during a snowstorm, but that didn't stop them from enjoying a honeymoon at Niagara Falls and eventually moved into their current home in Grahamsville. Louise was the local seamstress making sure everyone in the area had a place to drop their clothes for alterations. Her customers were fortunate to pick up their finished hems and alterations on a day when she was making her homemade white bread and other baked goods that she loved to share. Her baked goods made her famous with all her daughters' and grandchildren's friends for years (especially with her zucchini bread and carrot cake). She thoroughly enjoyed raising her daughters and grandchildren with her old-fashioned, caring ways.
Louise is survived by her husband, Thomas; brothers Victor and Daniel Budd; daughters Elizabeth and Ivalyn; grandchildren, Michael (Caitlin), Jazmyn (Ashton), Kyle and Tabatha; and great grandchildren, Chase, Colt, Loghan, Bennett and Aria.
In honor of Louise, a graveside service will be held on September 9, 2022, starting at 11am located at the Grahamsville Rural Cemetery across from Tri-Valley Central School. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Ulster Heights Methodist Church 1264 Ulster Heights Road Ellenville, New York 12428.
