Louise Stewart, 72, of Walden, N.Y. passed away October 6th from her battle with lung cancer.

She is predeceased by her parents, Cecil G. Stewart and Bobletta J. Ingram Stewart. Sister to the late Susan Stewart Isaacs, and Cecil G. Stewart II. She is survived by her siblings, Beth Stewart and George Stewart.

She leaves behind four children and a grandchild, Joshua C. Sutherland and his wife Arianna, Christopher G. Sutherland and fiancee Angeline Forian, Olivia M. Sutherland and William Diggle the parents of grandchild Louise C. Diggle and Francine L. Sutherland.

An avid animal lover, she loved the outdoors, camping, and was an active member in her local First Reformed Church which showed in her unwavering faith in God.

Louise worked as a legal secretary in Liberty, N.Y. in her youth as well as for the Sullivan County Government Center. For just over the last 20 years she worked at Walmart in Newburgh, N.Y. She was known by many for her kind, quiet spoken demeanor that brought light into so many people's lives.

Even though your mortal coil is being laid to rest, your spirit, your energy, is still with us. In everything we do. You were loved by so many. Your kind soul was a quiet blessing to those you touched.

The fragmented pieces we call memories are the parts of you we will carry with us to continue telling your story.

Be at peace. Fly with the angels. Friend, family, loved one to some, a Mother to us, you may be gone by never forgotten.

A memorial visitation will be held from 10am to 12:30pm on Saturday, October 18th at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12:30pm. Interment will follow at Lew Beach Cemetery.
