Maria B. Casanova, 62, of Liberty, passed away on Friday July 18, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY. The daughter of the late, Angel Serrano and Josephine Reyes, she was born on August 8, 1951 in Puerto Rico.

She was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Liberty, NY.

Survivors include five sons, Miguel Angel Casanova of New York, Miguel Angelo Casanova of North Carolina, Daniel Ramirez of Liberty, NY, Ricardo Ramirez of Dallas, TX and Vincent Ramirez of Rock Hill, NY.

Visiting hours are on Tuesday July 22, 2014 from 7 - 9 pm at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday July 23 at 10 AM at St. Peter's Church, 264 N. Main St. Liberty, NY. Burial will follow the mass at St. Peter's Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
