She was the daughter of the late Julio Garcia de Sa Barreto and Esmerina Sampaio Garcia, born on April 12, 1936 in Barhalha Ceara, Brazil.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4pm on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will be held at 3:30pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Friday, November 8th at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, NY.
