Maria A. Garcia, 91, of Liberty, died on Feb. 26, 2013 in at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY.

Maria was born on December 20, 1921 in Puerto Rico. She was a dental assistant for Dr. Schneider in New York City and she was a member of St. Peter's Church in Monticello, NY.

Survivors include her son, Orlando Rivera and his wife Cathy of Long Island; a daughter, Daisy Benton and her husband Tom of Liberty, NY; a sister, Delores Garcia of Breezy Point, NY; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husbands, Bruno Martinez and Felix Louis Rivera and her brother, Cale Garcia.

Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be on Saturday March 2 at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
