Marie L. Van Wert, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, passed away at the Kaplan Residence in Newburgh, NY after a long illness. She was 67.
The daughter of the late John and Ella Voss Van Wert, she was born on November 7, 1945 in White Lake, NY. Marie had worked as a clerk in the Monticello Shoprite.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Christopher Kaylor, of Liberty; her daughter, Tracy Kaylor, of Monticello; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Susan Lutz.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 5 from 1-3 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Rt 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 3 PM. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, following the services.
The family would like to thank Dr. Robert Dinsmore and the staff at the Kaplan Residence for their compassionate care during Marie's illness.
