Martha Luz Gagliardi, 64, of Monticello, passed away on Thursday May 29, 2014 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. The daughter of the late Daniel Garcia and Luz Tirado, she was born on September 18, 1949 in the Bronx.
Martha was a dietary worker for the Monticello Central School District and she was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church on Monticello, NY. She was a member of Monticello Elks Lodge # 1544 and a life member of the NRA.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Gagliardi at home; Sons, William Gagliardi and wife Janine of West Islip, NY and David Gagliardi and wife Alyssa of Fresh Meadows, NY; daughter, Melinda Budhram of Monticello, NY; brother, Daniel Garcia of Yonkers, NY; sister, Evelyn Damers of Mineola, NY; grandchildren, Joseph , Michael, Anthony, Ariana, Priamarie, Anil, Sunil, Colin and Marissa and two nieces and two nephews.
A Memorial mass will be held at a future date.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan County, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550.
