View Tribute Book Martin Claire Gershowitz, son of Naaman and Dorothy Gershowitz, born August 7, 1949, passed away July 24, 2023.   Marty was a longtime resident of Liberty having graduated with the Class of 1967.  Marty went on to get his Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University in 1971.  Marty’s focus was his family and particularly his son Jason of Scottsdale, AZ.  He was an animal lover extraordinaire with dogs his primary passion.  You would be hard pressed to find anyone who was not a dog lover on his “Friends List”. He had a quick wit and awesome sense of humor.  A great friend and helping hand to anyone in need, Marty will be missed by many. Marty leaves behind his beloved wife Robin and her son, Peter, his son Jason, brother George and his wife Carol.
