Mary Ellen Haberzettl, 68, died on Dec. 10, 2015 at Valley View Center in Goshen, NY. She was the daughter of the late Russell and Edna DeGroat Davis and was born on September 23, 1947 in Middletown, NY. Mary Ellen was a homemaker and was a former member of the Bethel Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
She is survived by her children, Michael Haberzettl (Colleen) of White Sulphur Springs, NY, David Haberzettl (Lisa) of Hyde Park, NY, Jack Haberzettl (Theresa) of Loch Sheldrake, NY, Christopher Haberzettl (Kathy) of Peebles, Ohio, Pauline Olsen of Liberty, NY, Mary Haberzettl King of Loch Sheldrake, NY and Lynn Haberzettl of Holiday, FL; brothers, Joseph Davis, Russell Davis and Paul Davis; 20 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Jacob Haberzettl in 1999.
Visiting hours are on Tuesday December 15, 2015 from Noon to 2 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will take place at the funeral home at 2 PM with Rev. Bridgette LeConey officiating. Burial will be next to her husband in Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY following the funeral services.
