Mary Alice Hazucha, of Liberty, passed away on Sunday March 30, 2014 at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center. She was 96. She was born on August 12, 1917 in Nyack, NY.
Mary Alice was a member of St. Anne' s Church in Nyack, NY. She was the widow of Rudolph Hazucha, her husband of 62 years, who died in 2009.
She is survived by her daughter and best friend. Alice Jimick and husband Brian of Loch Sheldrake, NY; daughters, Patricia Trifaro and husband Leonard of Cairo, NY and Mary Joy Liggio of Las Vegas, NV and several grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Gertrude Gozza.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. Graveside memorial services will be held at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery at a later date and will be private.
