Mercedes Ramos-Ortiz, 46, of Monticello, NY has passed away on June 27, 2024 after a very sudden decline in her health. Mercedes was born on July 21, 1977 to George and Yalmira Ramos in Brooklyn, NY.
Mercedes was predeceased by her father George B. Ramos and her husband Edwin Ortiz. She is survived by her two adult children Destiny L. Garcia and Edwin M. Ramos-Ortiz, her grandson Aiden M. Ortiz, her mother Yalmira Ramos, and her brother Richard A. Ramos.
Services will be held at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 NY-52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 on July 2nd from 12pm-1pm with burial to follow immediately after.
