He was 38 years old.He is survived by his parents, Norman & Linda Kowalik formerly from Woodbourne, NY and currently from Southington, CT and Leesburgh, FL. He was predeceased by his brother Kenny. He also left behind several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was formerly married to Jennifer Galka. He will be sorely missed by his two faithful dogs, Lola & Vito.Michael graduated from Tri-Valley Central School, class of 2000. He earned an associate degree from Sullivan County Community College and a Bachelor’s and master’s Degree in Business from American Military University.Michael proudly served our country as a Second Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy for six and half years.Michael was employed as a Program Manager for Waste Management in Windsor, CT.He was interested in dirt bikes, ATV’s, radio controlled cars, fishing and lawn maintenance.A graveside service will be held privately.Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
