Michael Mott

Michael G. Mott of Livingston Manor, NY passed away on November 16, 2025, at Garnet Health Medical Center. He was 72 years old.

He was the son of the late Arthur M. Mott and Pearl E. (Houston) Mott, born on September 24, 1953 in Liberty, NY.

Michael worked at Memories in Parksville, NY for many years. He was also a cab driver for many years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1977, as well as a member of the reserves for several years. Michael had many hobbies, such as woodwork, collecting trains and models, along with playing with RC cars with his two sons and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Diann (Bertholf) Mott; His son Gary Mott (Dorothy) of Livingston Manor, NY; His daughter Amanda Jowers (Randall) of Livingston Manor; his second son Thomas Mott of Livingston Manor; His grandchildren Pearl Mott, Marline, Rain, Mikey, Savannah, Americus, Connor, Hope, Jr, and Aquamarine; His brother Robert Mott (Liz) of North Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Michael was predeceased by his brother Leonard L. Mott.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Sullivan County Veterans Association in honor of Michael.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at 11:00 am, at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery in Liberty, NY.
