Morton R. Neufeld, 74, of Parksville, NY, passed away on Monday May 2, 2016 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. The son of the late Fred and Ethel Chopak Neufeld, he was born on December 31, 1941 in Bronx, NY.
Morton was a retired High School Teacher for the Monticello Central School District. He was active in community affairs. He served in the US Army and was a Lt. Colonel in the Army Reserves.
He is survived by his Wife Mary Kelly Neufeld at home and a grandson, Luciano Carlucci. He was predeceased by his daughter, Alysen Neufeld.
Burial with Military Honors took place at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery on Thursday May 5, 2016 at 11 AM.
