Muriel "Molly" Melaver, 91, of White Lake, passed away at her home on May 1st, 2018. Born to Lena Jappe and Hyman Melaver on September 21st, 1926. Molly leaves behind the many friends and family she has made over her thirty seven years with SullivanArc.
Molly will be remembered for her feisty personality, love of all things "girly", especially her vast collection of handbags, and for how she enjoyed spending time with her friends. She will be sorely missed by her loving staff at the Whitelake IRA , the caring and generous people who served as her guardians and all that have had the pleasure of meeting her.
On Behalf of Molly, the following Hebrew Proverb is offered: "Death is not the extinguishing of light, but rather the lamp that is put out because the dawn has come".
Visitation will be held from 11a to 12p, Today, Friday, May 4th at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 3534 State Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. A funeral service will follow immediately at the funeral home. Cantor Devorah Gartner will officiate. Burial will follow at Woodbourne Cemetery.
