Nancy D. Cooper, 61, of Mongaup Valley, NY entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 7, 2014 at home with husband at her side.
The daughter of the late Charles and Janice (Nelson) Dougherty, she was born on August 20, 1952. She is survived by her husband Matt and her brother John Dougherty of Olympia, WA.
Nancy was a devoted wife, a computer whiz with an amazing artistic sense and had a great sense of humor. She loved people, was an avid reader and was an extraordinary player of word games. Friends who knew her were amazed by her can-do spirit and smile even in the face of adversity. The world is a more beautiful place because of all the lives she so generously touched.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was predeceased by her uncle Paul Nelson of St. Paul, MN.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
