View Tribute Book Nubia Quintero-Edwards of Kiamesha Lake, NY was welcomed into our savior's loving embrace on September 28, 2021 on her 51st Birthday.She was the daughter of Maria Lilia Garcia and the late Jose Placido Quintero, born on September 28, 1970 in Colombia.A devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother, she brought joy to her family and was dedicated to helping our community through her work at Catholic Charities. Her kindness, compassion, humility and humble strength were felt by everyone she touched. Her tender legacy lives on in her husband, Jason Edwards and sons Erick Andrey Cuellar, and Jason Placido Edwards of Kiamesha Lake, as well as her mother Maria Garcia of Monticello, beloved sisters Lucy Quintero of Monticello, and Liliany Quintero of Philadelphia, PA, father and mother-in-law Roger and Nancy Edwards of Liberty, NY, sister in law Tammey and John McCloud of Lords Valley, PA, nieces and nephews Lynna Pedroza, Jorge Pedroza, Christian Pedroza Joseph Clark, Samantha Kurtz, Casey Kurtz, and Jacqueline and Clarence Rundle grandnephew Caleb Kurtz-McCloud and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, acquaintances and clients. She was predeceased by her father, Jose Placido Quintero, and her sister Janeth Quintero.Visitation will be on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY from 2-4:00 pm and 7-9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Peter's Church, 10 Liberty Street, Monticello, NY on Monday, October 4, 2021 at 10:00am immediately followed by the Rite of Committal Service and burial at Grahamsville Cemetery in Grahamsville, NY.
