Patricia J. DeMayo, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Saturday May 27, 2017 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 85. Pat was the daughter of the late Bernard and Josephine McGrath and was born on April 3, 1932 in New York City.

Pat had worked as Secretary for Eastern Color in Valley Stream, NY. She and her late husband, Frank J. DeMayo, moved from Valley Stream to Liberty to be closer to their family. Pat was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty.

She is survived by her son, Frank DeMayo and his wife Rita of Liberty; her daughter, Audrey Woolard of Liberty; her sister, Margaret Sullivan and her husband Timothy of Garden City, NY; grandchildren, Nicole Callegari and her husband Jon of NYC, Phillip Woolard and his companion Megan Huggler of Liberty, Christian Woolard and his companion Jackie Rodriguez of Brooklyn, Katlyn DeMayo of Liberty and Patrick DeMayo and his companion, Lindsay Vallo of Brooklyn and great-grandchildren, Mylee Woolard, Aaden Woolard and Caleb Reed. Pat was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. DeMayo in 2006.

The DeMayo family would like to thank the staff at the Skilled Nursing Unit for the excellent care they gave to Pat during her stay.

Friends may call on Tuesday May 30, 2017 from 4 - 8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, May 31 at 11 AM at St. Peter's Church, 264 N. Main St. Liberty, NY. Fr. William Scafidi will officiate. Burial will follow the mass at Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery where Pat will be buried with her beloved husband.
