Paul Philemon Johnson, a resident of the Bronx, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at his home. He was 57 years of age. He was the son of Gerald Johnson and Alva Reid Johnson and was born on May 19, 1957 in Kingston, Jamaica.
Paul is survived by his mother, Alva Bailey of New York City; his brothers, James Johnson of Jamaica, West Indies, Keith Johnson and his wife Monica, Hugh Johnson and Ian Johnson, all of New York City; his sisters, Pansy Akpan of New York City, Daphne Wright and her husband Phillip of Staten Island and Joan Patterson and her husband Ison of Liberty and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Gerald Johnson.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 10 AM to Noon at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at Noon with Robert Akpan, B.A. M.B.A officiating. Burial will follow the services at Liberty Cemetery.
