Peter N. Koval, 22, a former resident of Liberty, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 as a result of a tragic automobile accident in Pennsylvania. He was the son of Michael D. Koval who died in 2012 and Bernadette Frings Koval Hofsommer and was born on August 22, 1994 in Harris, NY.
Peter was a graduate of Liberty High School and Lafayette College in Easton, PA where he received his BS in Engineering. He was employed as a chemical engineer for the Dow Chemical Co. in Collegeville, PA.
Peter leaves behind his mother and stepfather, Bernadette and James Hofsommer of Liberty; brother, Michael J. Koval of Philadelphia, PA; sisters, Michelle S. Koval of Manchester, England and Alicia Koval of Wilmington, NC; uncles, Richard Frings and his husband, Douglas Loftus of Burbank, CA, Robert Koval and wife Debbie of Holtsville, NY and Mark Koval and his husband, Rosivaldo Novaes of Los Angeles, CA and cousins, Kelly Koval and Ashley Koval. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Koval and his aunt Diane Koval.
The Koval family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 from 2 - 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Memorial funeral services will be at Ramsay's Funeral Home at 4 PM with Pastor Paul Minton officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity on one's choice.
