Rafael Perez, of Monticello, passed away on December 27, 2019 in Newburgh, NY. He was 76.
He was born on April 10, 1943 in Puerto Rico.
Rafael enjoyed keeping his hands busy by making things out of matches; he liked being outdoors walking around town stopping to talk to friends along the way. He loved listening to music and playing the harmonica.
He leaves behind his brother and friend Nelson Marrero (Nancy Malave) and his family; niece Dionisia Malave, Ledora and the family, Myrna Pantojo, Wanda and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2020 from 2pm-3pm at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 55 St. John Street, Monticello, NY 12701.
