Ramon Martinez, of Loch Sheldrake, NY, passed away on August 8, 2024. He was 61.
He was the son of the late Jorge and Franscica (Morales) Martinez, born on February 5, 1963 in New York, NY.
Ramon had a personality as sweet and warm as his smile that seemed to shine through his eyes. He didn’t speak, but the look on his face told you everything you needed to know. Ramon loved the comfort of blankets and his head being rubbed as well as listening to Spanish music with his peers while perusing through the latest Victoria Secret’s catalog. Ramon’s presence and smile brought a warmth to his home that will always be missed and remembered.
Ramon is survived by his sister Maribel Gomez and his friends and extended family at New Hope Community.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 from 10 to 11am at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne NY 12788. A funeral service will follow immediately. Burial to follow at Woodbourne Cemetery, Parsonage Rd, Woodbourne, NY 12788.
