Randy Nygard, a lifelong Sullivan County resident, passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Albany Medical Center. He was 60 years of age. The son of the late Nils and Kathleen Miller Nygard, he was born on July 19. 1955 in Monticello, NY.
Randy is survived by his daughter, Tabetha Unser and her husband, Steve, of Schenectady, NY ; three grandchildren, Henry, Shaun and Noah; sisters, Sue Newham of Bethel, NY, Lori Jeffries and husband C.T. of Richmond, VA; brother, Danny Nygard of Neversink, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Pattilyn Culligan Nygard, his father-in-law, Norm Culligan and brother John Nygard of Florida.
A Celebration of Randy's life will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1 - 4 PM at Mr. Willy's, Route 42, Monticello, NY.
The Nygard family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Childhood Apraxia Speech Assn of North America (CASANA), 416 Lincoln Ave. 2nd Floor, Pittsburg, PA 15209.
