Raymond L. Goode, of Grahamsville, NY and a lifelong Sullivan county resident, passed away on Thursday July 23, 2015 at Orange regional Medical Center. He was 69 years of age. The son of the late Oral and Lula Mae Goode, he was born on March 7, 1946 in Liberty, NY.
Raymond was an equipment operator for the Town of Neversink Highway Department and was an avid dirt racing fan. He served his country as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps from 1965 to 1967.
He is survived by his wife, Bette Wells Goode at home; sons, Lee and his wife Arminda of Woodbourne, NY, Mitchell and his wife Rachel of Lusby, MD and Nathaniel and his companion, Amanda, of Livingston Manor, NY.; sisters, Lillian Ellis of Tennessee, Carolyn Desrosirs of Long Island and Jean Austin of White Sulphur Springs, NY and grandchildren, Devin, Kyle, Julianna, Wyaitt, Emilyn and Jaidyn. He was preceased by his two brothers, James of Newark, NJ and Duanne of Liberty, NY and by a sister JoAnn Ohnemus of Florida.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
