Richard Applegate, of Roscoe, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Roscoe Regional Rehab., he was 83.
He was the son of the late Harry Applegate and Florence Kuhn, born on June 01, 1935 in Monticello, NY.
Richard was a truck driver for the Local 445 out of Newburgh. He drove for the Town of Forestburgh and for Sullivan County. On his free time he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his daughter Dianne Applegate and her mother Betty Couch-Applegate, his sisters Gloria Applegate (Dean Roosevelt), and Dawn (Raymond) Swailes and his brother Robert Applegate along with several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents Harry Leroy Applegate and Florence Esther Kuhn, his brother John Applegate and his sister Doris Ann Dauch, his wives Alberta Applegate and Joyce Applegate.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18th from 11am - 1 pm at Colonial Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 South Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754. A funeral service will follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
