Richard L. "Ricky" Miller, 55, of Liberty, NY passed away on Monday Tuesday June 20, 2017 after unexpected complications from a prolonged illness.
Ricky was born on May 12, 1962 in Monticello to Roland and Janet Price Miller in Monticello, NY. He attended Monticello High School and worked as a short/long haul truck driver and as a paramedic for many years.
Ricky is survived by his daughter Jenny Morelli of Florida; his mother and stepfather, Janet and Bill Murns of Mongaup Valley; sisters, Terri Layton of White Lake, Jennifer (Ben) Stone of Liberty and Rosalie (Alonzo) Geminiano of Gardiner, NY; brother, Dennis Miller of Utica; stepsisters, Joanne (Dennis ) Payne of Florida and Donna (Dave) Sanford of Mongaup Valley; stepbrother, Edgar Murns of Alabama; 16 nieces and nephews; 15 great-nieces and nephews and 2 great-great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Julie; his life partner, Kathy Morelli; his maternal grandparents, Myrtle and Leonard Price; his paternal grandparents, Violet and Charles Miller; his father Roland C. Miller Sr. and brothers, Roland C. Miller Jr. and Danny Miller.
Friends may call on Saturday June 24, 2017 from 2 - 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Route 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 4 PM with Pastor David Coon officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Bethel, NY following the services.
