Robert Hinkley

The extended family of Robert E. Hinkley of Pine Bush, New York are saddened to announce his passing on July 13, 2025, at 52 years of age. Bobby was born to Richard and Martha (Dutcher) Hinkley on March 2, 1973, in Pine Bush, New York.

Bobby attended Pine Bush High School, and enjoyed tabletop roleplaying, hiking, exploring, history, cryptids, ghosts and magic.

Bobby was predeceased by his father, Richard E. Hinkley, his mother, Martha S. (Dutcher) Hinkley; his brother, Paul Richard Hinkley; his adopted sister Matilda Sewell; his Maternal Grandmother Mary E (Bartley) Dutcher; and his Maternal Grandfather Robert C. Dutcher; his Paternal Grandfather, Edward Hinkley; his Paternal Grandmother Cora Mae Hinkley; and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Bobby is survived by one Aunt, Linda (Dutcher) Potter; and many cousins, second cousins, friends and acquaintances.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, October 3rd at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Rd, Goshen, NY.
