Robert Porter

Robert Porter of Hurleyville, a lifelong area resident, went to be with the Lord on October 27, 2024, with his loving wife Val by his side. He was 76.

Robert was born in Liberty, NY to his parents Royal Sr. and Lillian Porter on October 22, 1948.

He leaves behind a large family that will miss his loud voice and great pies. He was the family carpenter and all around fix it man. He loved his dog Bella, his Christmas decorations and vast collection of treasures. Now he soars with the eagles.

Survivors include his wife Valerie Lacy of Hurleyville, two brothers John Porter and wife Mary of OK. And David Porter and wife Roje of Hurleyville, NY one sister Lillian Dibble and husband David of Liberty, NY and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by two brothers Royal Porter Jr. of Liberty NY and Thomas Porter of Liberty, NY.
