Robert Donald Purcell

Robert D. Purcell, a lifelong resident of Ellenville, NY passed away at Northern Manor Nursing facility in Nanuet NY on friday, July 12, 2024. He was 71.

He was the son of Madelyn Dingman (Ellett) and the late Donald V. Purcell. He was born on February 11,1953, in Ellenville, NY.

Many may have recognized him from Shoprite in Ellenville, or the General Sportswear in Ellenville. Bob was an avid lottery player and would find some enjoyment in playing video games. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his Daughter Heather Manor, her husband Frank, two granddaughters Amber & Jailyn Manor of Woodridge, NY. mother Madelyn Dingman of Winchendon,MS. his brother Albert Purcell of Raeford, NC., as well as many cousins,nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 7th from 1 to 4pm at Mountaindale Park Pavilion, 126 Mountaindale Park Rd., Mountaindale, NY.
